One of the most anticipated points of the year will be the double day in Almazán (Soria), the days 19 & 20 of July, with the Spanish Duathlon and Gravel Triathlon Championships.
The success of this town in hosting top-level events has led the Federation to once again place its trust in its organisational capacity, offering an opportunity to compete to highly experienced athletes, as well as to those who want to join in and discover a sport that is gaining ground on the national scene.

Palencia and Valladolid as references
Among the provinces with the most events are: Palencia, with ten calls, and Valladolid, with nine.
In Palencia, there are already classic competitions such as the triathlons of Astudillo, Lantadilla, Aguilar de Campoo and Dueñas, as well as the Team Duathlon of Espinosa de Villagonzalo. Each year, these enclaves have demonstrated their passion for sport, offering varied circuits and attractive environments.
Valladolid, for its part, is not far behind. City of Valladolid Triathlon will bring forward its date to encourage participation, while the Castilla y León Challenge in Medina de Rioseco it remains a key event on the national calendar.
With routes that combine cycling segments on wide roads and a walking section through historic areas, these events have a reputation for being very well attended.
Burgos, Segovia, Soria, Ávila and Zamora also present
Burgos will host eight events, including the Fuentemolinos duathlon, which will become the Castilla y León Relay and Mixed Championship, as well as other events such as the Aranda de Duero triathlon or the Poza de la Sal open event.
En Segovia y Soria There will be ten events between both provinces, distributed throughout the calendar to encourage participation in different modalities. Ávila y Zamora, for their part, will have one event each, although this does not mean that they will be any less significant for the sport.
End of season in Valladolid
As usual, the final stretch of the calendar is reserved for Valladolid. Duathlon for minors and promotion in Pinar de Antequera will take place between the months of October and November, although the exact date is still pending confirmation.
With this in mind, Castilla y León is launching its 2025 season with renewed hopes, ready to welcome triathletes and sports enthusiasts from all over the country.
