Camila Pedersen suffers a bike accident and is in critical condition

Currently in the Intensive Care Unit

The Danish triathlete Camila Pedersen, European Champion of Medium Distance Triathlon and European Ironman Champion, has suffered a bicycle accident while training in her hometown of Esberrg, communicates the federation of her country.

The accident was due to the fact that the triathlete encountered a group of children and when she tried to avoid them she lost control of the bicycle and hit her head on the ground.

Camila suffers a skull fracture  and a cranial hemorrhage and is currently in the intensive care unit from the university hospital of Odense. At this time it is stable within a critical state.
