2025 IRONMAN World Championship Dates
The organization HOMBRE DE HIERRO has announced the dates and venues for the IRONMAN World Championship of 2025.
On 14 September 2025, the city of Nice on the French Riviera will host the men's competition. On 11 October 2025, Kailua-Kona in Hawaii will host the women's event.
Alternation of venues and categories
Since 2023, IRONMAN has implemented a rotation of venues for their world championship, alternating between Nice and Kona for the men's and women's categories.
The decision was made following logistical difficulties and concerns from the local Kona community about hosting events on consecutive days. The alternation is scheduled to continue at least through 2026.
