Almazán will have nearly 2.000 athletes in the national Cros Triathlon, Cros Duathlon and Aquathlon

This coming July 13 and 14, the town of Almazán will become the setting for one of the most important events of the calendar national sporting event of the Cross modality: the Spanish Cros Triathlon, Cros Duathlon and Aquathlon Championships.

With the organization in charge of the Spanish Triathlon Federation, this event will bring together 1.750 competitors, a growth of thirteen percent compared to the previous year.

Duathlon Cros

The activities will begin on Saturday the 13th, with the first departures scheduled at 9:15 a.m.

This championship will attract athletes from different categories, including Cadet, Youth, Junior and Paratriathlon, with award ceremonies spread throughout the day to recognize the winners of each category.

Aquathlon

Also on Saturday, the Aquathlon will take center stage starting at 18:00 p.m.

The tests will range from promising young people to the most experienced in Elite categories, culminating with the Junior and Age Group races.

Cros Triathlon

Sunday, July 14, will mark the busiest day with 704 athletes challenging the Cros Triathlon circuit.

The test will begin at 9:00 a.m. for the minor categories and at 12:15 p.m. and 12:30 p.m. for the Elite Male and Female categories, respectively.

Participants will enjoy a route that combines running and cycling in the idyllic La Arboleda park, with the swimming section crossing the Duero River, offering spectacular views from the bridge and the nearby banks.

Schedule

Expectations are high, and the organization has confirmed that everything is ready to surpass the achievements of last year's championships, where figures such as Kevin Tarek Viñuela y Gemma Llabres.

With increased participation and continued support from the local and national community, the Spanish Championships in Almazán promise to be a memorable event for athletes and spectators alike.
