The Spanish Championships of 10km, 50km, 100km, trail running and mountain are canceled

It has been announced by the Spanish Athletics Federation

The Spanish Athletics Federation has published on its website a communication explaining the suspension of these 3 championships for this year 2020 by the Coronavirus.

As a consequence of the current health situation due to COVID-19, due to the evolution of the pandemic and always ensuring the health of all athletes, organizers and participants in the different athletic events, the RFEA regrets to announce the cancellation of the following competitions:

• The Spanish Championship of 10km on the Road Absolute and Master, which should have been held on April 4 at Don Benito, has been permanently canceled.

• The Spanish Trail Running Championship Absolute individual and master, rescheduled to be held in La Palma (Tenerife) on October 2, finally will not take place.

• The Spanish Mountain Racing Championship - Trail Running, which could not be held on its original date, April 26 in Liencres (Cantabria), has been definitively canceled.

• The Spanish Championship 50km and 100km Absolute and Master, rescheduled to be held in Santander on September 26, has been definitively canceled.

The Federation wishes to thank the collaboration and understanding given the current situation created by COVID - 19 and trusts that, in the near future, we can once again enjoy all athletic events.
