Carlos López will start the season at the Portocolom Triathlon

The Balearic triathlete has announced that he will return to participate in the test he has chosen to start his 2019 season.

In social networks the organization has published that Carlos López will compete again in the Portocolom International Triathlon

After accident who suffered in 2017, which deprived him of participating in the Kona Ironman, returned to top competition in the past Challenge Madrid, after having spent a difficult year since he had to undergo appendicitis surgery just before Triathlon of Vitoria, proof in which I would participate.

Now Carlos is fully recovered and will compete again in a test that is chosen by many trialists to start the season.

The competition will have two different distances: the distance 111 (1km of swimming + 100 km of cycling + 10 km of running on foot) or the short of 55.5 (500m of swimming + 50 km of cycling + 5 km of running on foot)

 El International Triathlon of Portocolom, the next 14 of April will be disputed, the four times winner of the test are already confirmed Michael Van Cleven , Markus Hörmann  winner of the 2014 in addition to the local triathlete joan Nadal and now Carlos López besides the winner of last year Natasha Schmitt

Swimming will take place in the bay of Portocolom with the mythical lighthouse as a backdrop, the cycling segment will go up to Sant Salvador times and in the race on foot you can enjoy one of the best views of the whole island  running to the lighthouse.

Portocolom is located in the east coast of Mallorca, and it is one of the most charming destinations on the island that has beaches with crystal clear waters and very calm thanks to the geographical qualities of the area.
