Carlos López goes down for the Vitoria Triathlon

The triathlete has suffered an appendicitis operation, so he will not be able to compete in the test

Carlos López has published today on social networks that he will not participate in the Triathlon Vitoria this weekend, due to an unexpected operation of appendicitis,

 

The other day I was telling you that I was rushing through the last training sessions before @trivitoria… well that same day in the afternoon I had to have an appendicitis operation! ? I had been in a lot of pain for a couple of days, without eating anything and when I went to the doctor I found the "surprise". The important thing is that I'm fine, and finally eating. The first night was pretty bad, with a lot of pain. But now I feel much better! Now it's time to recover... and of course next year I'll do my best to participate in Vitoria ?? Carlos who had chosen this test to return to compete in long distance, after the accident that cost him his participation for Kona. Carlos has on his track record a victory in the 2016 Mallorca Ironman and the 2015 LD Spanish Championship, in addition to qualifying for Kona last year but where he could not compete because he was run over a few days before the test .
