The best Spanish in Kona 2014, Carmen Gil Brahim looks for her classification for the 2016 in the IRONMAN of Florida

This weekend the IRONMAN of Florida takes part in Panama City and there will take the exit Carmen Gil Brahim, the best Spanish in the IRONMAN World Championship in Kona of 2014.

Last year Carmen qualified at the end of August in the very tough HOMBRE DE HIERRO Lousville won her GGEE (40-44) with a time of 10h 56min, also being 14th in the women's general classification. Six weeks later she competed in the world championship in Hawaii where she was the best Spanish athlete, being in the top 30 in her GGEE.

Carmen has had a pretty quiet 2015, competing little, after the hard 2014. He faces the IRONMAN of Florida with the intention of qualifying again for "Mecca", although as he said "I'm very humble, since it is very difficult to get slot, but I will give everything to try to repeat the result of the IM Lou del last year".
