IRONMAN 70.3 Zell am See 2024 results. Caroline Pohle and Mika Noodt take the win

Caroline Pohle (Germany) demonstrated an impressive recovery by taking his second consecutive victory in the IRONMAN 70.3 Zell am See-Kaprun, crossing the finish line in 4:17:34, just a week after being crowned IRONMAN 70.3 European Champion in Tallinn (Estonia)

In the men's category, his compatriot mika noodt, in his IRONMAN Pro Series debut, took the win with a time of 3:46:04, beating the race record by two seconds.

At IRONMAN 70.3 Zell am See-Kaprun, athletes competed for a maximum of 2.500 IRONMAN Pro Series points, a total professional prize pool of $50,000 and three qualifying spots per gender to the 70.3 IRONMAN 2025 World Championship in Marbella, Spain.

Pohle emerged from the water in second position, just behind Lauren Brandon, but managed to overtake the American in T1, taking the lead on the bike and keeping it until the end.

Behind her, a group of pursuers formed on the bicycle, composed of Lena Meißner, Els Visser, Laura Madson y Grace thek.

As Pohle extended his lead on the run, becoming increasingly uncatchable, a battle for the podium broke out between Madsen, Visser and Thek.

With about 2km to go, Madsen began to lose ground, while Thek took over second place, leaving the Dane in third. Thek and Madsen finished less than two minutes behind Pohle.
