Jack Moody and Alanis Siffert win the 2024 Challenge Family World Bonus

The year 2024 has been exceptional for international triathlon, with events of Challenge Family which have stood out for their competitiveness and excitement.

Two athletes have shone with their own light: Jack moody y alani siffert, who have taken first place in the Challenge Family World Bonus, each receiving a prize of $25.000 to support their goals in 2025.

Jack Moody: An impeccable strategy

The New Zealander Jack moody has proven that consistency and meticulous planning are key to success.

With five podiums in six races and victories in Challenge Taiwan, Gunsan-Saemangeum Challenge y Challenge Cap QuebecMoody accumulated 1.250 points, leading the men's ranking.

After his last race in Challenge Xiamen, where he finished third, Moody said: “Going for the overall bonus this year was a lot of fun, almost like a game of Texas Hold’em. Deciding who would run in which races and when was quite a challenge. I opted to play my cards early and luckily I still had a card to play in November.”

This award will allow him to travel more and pursue important goals in 2025, with obtaining the World Bonus being one of his main achievements of the season.

Serbian Ognjen Stojanovic finished second with 1.150 points, just 100 points behind Moody. His victory in Challenge Xiamen was instrumental in securing his position: “Winning was my big goal all year, and although I knew it would be difficult to beat Jack, I am satisfied with my second place.”

Third place went to the Swede Jesper Svensson, who accumulated 765 points, standing out with his victory in Challenge Almere-Amsterdam, where he was crowned European champion. The competition was tight, with the German Tom Hug just 15 points away and the British Will draper completing the top 5 with 650 points.

Alanis Siffert: The rise of a Swiss talent

In the female category, the Swiss alani siffert has had a spectacular year, rising from 148th to 28th in the rankings. PTO. Aurélia Boulanger and Els Visser: A fight to the end

Aurelia Boulanger He led much of the season with three consecutive victories, but an unfortunate retirement in Challenge San Remo and a fifth place in Challenge Old Boucau relegated her to second place, accumulating 975 points. Despite this, she finished strongly by climbing onto the podium in Challenge Xiamen.

A $100.000 incentive

El Challenge Family World Bonus offers professional triathletes the opportunity to compete for a prize purse U.S. dollar 100.000 at the end of the season, in addition to the prizes in individual competitions.

The bonus is distributed among the top five in each category, granting U.S. dollar 25.000 in the first place, U.S. dollar 16.500 to the second, U.S. dollar 12.000 to the third, U.S. dollar 6.000 to the fourth and U.S. dollar 3.000 to the fifth.

This initiative encourages participation in multiple events in the series and ensures that top athletes have the resources they need to continue raising the bar for professional triathlon.
