El Peguera-Mallorca Challenge, One of the most acclaimed middle-distance triathlons of the season is preparing to welcome triathletes from around the world on October 20.
This event promises to once again offer an unforgettable experience to participants, not only for the physical challenge it represents, but for the wonderful views and vibrant atmosphere that the island offers.
An Opportunity to End the Season Successfully
The Peguera-Mallorca Challenge route is known for its beauty and difficulty. The race will start at the idyllic Playa de Torà, where triathletes will dive into the water to complete a demanding 1,9-kilometre course, designed in a two-lap format, which offers greater safety and confidence for those who feel anxious about swimming in the open sea.
The 90-kilometre cycling segment provides a spectacular ride through the stunning Serra de Tramuntana mountains, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
With approximately 1.000 metres of elevation gain, cyclists will face steep climbs and dizzying descents. This route offers a perfect combination of enjoying the natural environment without losing sight of competitiveness.
Finally, the running race, which takes place through the streets of Peguera, is designed to thrill participants. With a route of 21,1 kilometres, athletes will be able to enjoy the sea views while completing their last race of the year.
