Judith Corachán and Iñaki Baldellou, Spanish tricks in the Challenge Rimini

The Italian city of Rimini celebrates this Sunday a new edition of the Challenge Rimini, where Catalan triathletes Iñaki Baldellou and Judith Corachán will compete, winners last season of the Challenge Salou and Challenge Peguera-Mallorca respectively.

The competition of Challenge Rimini will begin at 10: 00 in the morning from the beach of Torá, where the triathletes will face the 1.900m of swimming. Next the triathletes will pedal during 93 hard kilometers, skirting the small state of San Marino in a round trip circuit with a difference of more than 1.400m. The competition will end with the half marathon, which will be four laps around the circuit around the Federico Fellini Park

In the men's competition the main favorites are the Italian Giulio Molinari (first triathlete to beat Frodeno in an MD triathlon), the American David Giardini and the Austrian Per Bittner. On the Spanish side, besides Iñaki Baldellou will be Ricardlo Alvalde y Frederic Schaffer competing in elite category.

As far as women's competition is concerned, the undisputed favorite is the Dutch Yvonne Van Vlerker, the woman who more times has descended from 9h in Ironman. Besides her Judith Corachán and the Italians Sara Dossera y Marta Bernardi they will fight for podium positions.
