The fifth day of the National League of Duathlon Clubs was as spectacular and fun as the new one promised Spanish Championship of Duathlon SuperSprint 2 × 2, in which three pairs of relievers from each club in competition followed each other in the race to cover a double Duathlon SuperSprint.

Competition to exploit the strategy and work of each club in the magnificent setting of the Estadi Olimpic Camilo Cano in "La Nucía, City of Sports" and its surroundings.

More than sixty sports can be practiced in the facilities of the Alicante town, which opened as the headquarters of the Spanish Triathlon Federation and accumulates awards such as the National Sports Award in 2013, the European Sports Village in 2012 and the Best European Sports Village in 2017 .

The men's national SuperSprint 2 × 2 Duathlon championship was the first to be held, with representation from the First and Second Division teams, and participants in the Open category.

The test was very spectacular, with a great alternation at the head in each of the four consecutive supersprint duathlons to which the three pairs of each team were gradually joining or leaving.

Isbilya Sloppy Joe's, Alusigma Peñota Dental Portugaletekoa and Triathlon Soriano were protagonists at different moments of the race to show the leadership in any of the segments or make comebacks, but the final podium was defined with Saltoki Trikideak in third position and with a very global competition. solid, and the sprint for the title between the two pairs of final relievers of Diablillos de Rivas and Cidade de Lugo Fluvial, the Galicians prevailing by a few seconds.

The women's category was resolved long before the last meters, and even the last supersprint duathlons.

From the start, the Diablillos Rivas team imposed a great rhythm and lap by lap, relay by relay, opening the gap to win with great comfort and authority. Behind CEA Bétera and Prat Triatló 1994 seemed to fight an open podium, while Cidade de Lugo Fluvial was fighting to cut differences, just like Saltoki Trikideak or Soriano Triathlon.

Only the Galicians would achieve it, in a fantastic final relay by Natalia Hidalgo and Lucía Vergara that took them to the second drawer of the podium, beating the rest of the rivals except the winners, who had an already insurmountable advantage. CEA Bétera achieved the bronze medal after finally managing to distance itself from Prat Triatló 1994.

In the Open categories, the men's podium was made up of the Caravaca Ortodent Triathlon, The 208 Triathlon Club and the Ontinyent Triathlon; and the female Tragaleguas.org, Murcia Unidata Triathlon and Morvedre Triathlon.

In the award ceremony of the second day of competition in La Nucía, City of Sports, participated the councilor for Sports of the town, Sergio Villalba; the President of the Triatló Federation of the Valencian Community, Vanessa Huesa; and the President of the Spanish Triathlon Federation, José Hidalgo.
