Cidade de Lugo Fluvial and University of Alicante, Spanish Relay Triathlon Champions in Águilas

Águilas has once again witnessed an exciting day of triathlon in which the Cidade de Lugo Fluvial feminine and the University of Alicante men were proclaimed champions of Spain in Relay Triathlon.

The competition, held on Sunday, May 12, 2024, was the second day of the National League and the Iberdrola Triathlon League.

In the women's category, the fight for the title was intense, with Cidade de Lugo Fluvial and Náutico de Narón as the main protagonists.

Finally, the Lugo team, with a team made up of Elsa Pena, Ana Gomez Carballo y Lena Nizou Villair, won with a time of 54:22, beating Náutico de Narón by just three seconds. He CEA Bétera completed the podium after a close battle with other teams.

In the Open categories, the Squali Carabanchel Triathlon won the women's category, while the 401 Tetrasod Triathlon won the men's category.

At the same time, the Spanish Talent Relay Triathlon Championship was held, reserved for the cadet and youth categories.

In the elite women's category, Squali Carabanchel took the title, while, in the men's category, Cidade de Lugo Fluvial won the victory.
