The Navarro-Riojano Triathlon Circuit is born in 2025

In a historic collaboration, the Navarra Triathlon Federation and the Riojan Triathlon Federation have joined together to give life to the Navarro-Rioja Triathlon Circuit 2025.

This circuit was born with the firm purpose of promoting sport, promoting regional collaboration and offering a calendar high quality competitive event for triathletes from both communities.

The circuit will have eight tests which will take place between February and September 2025. These events will be divided into different modalities, including duathlon and triathlon, and will be held in various formats: sprint, super sprint, standard and olympic.

Participants will have the opportunity to compete in diverse scenarios, alternating between the regions of Navarre y The Rioja, which promises an enriching experience with varied landscapes and sporting challenges.

Modalities and Classifications

El Navarro-Rioja Triathlon Circuit 2025 will offer different types of competitions to ensure the inclusiveness and dynamism of the event. Three main classifications will be organized:

  • Men's and Women's Individual Championship: The top three finishers will receive prizes to recognize their performance throughout the circuit.
  • Classification by Categories: There will be prizes for the first classified in each category, in accordance with the regulations of the Spanish Triathlon Federation (FETRI). Categories will include Junior, U23, V1, V2 and V3, providing an opportunity for every age group.
  • Team Classification: The three best times of each club will add points for the team classification, thus fostering the spirit of collaboration between members of the different clubs.

Participation Requirements and Circuit Rules

Participation in the circuit will be open to all federated triathletes, although only those federated in Navarre o The Rioja may score points for the overall classification of the circuit. Triathletes who are not federated may participate using a one day license, but without the right to score in the global ranking.

To be eligible for the final classification of the circuit, it will be mandatory to complete at least two tests from each federation.

PRICE MONEY 

The circuit will offer trophies to the top three ranked in the general ranking, as well as the champions of each category.

Team prizes will also be awarded for the top three clubs in both the men's and women's categories. In addition, there will be a special recognition for those triathletes who manage to finish six, seven or eight tests of the circuit, highlighting the effort and perseverance throughout the season.
