Club La Santa smiles again.
The hotel and sports complex located in the municipality of Tinajo today reopens its doors and welcomes the first guests in 2021, who will be able to enjoy unique facilities equipped with all preventive and sanitary measures to guarantee a safe stay.
With capacity for house 1.600 people and 500 direct jobs, Club Santa continues to offer the unique possibility of practicing more than 80 sports modalities in its infrastructure.
13 months without receiving customers, used to reform the facility
During the 13 months without receiving customers, the center has not stopped and has undertaken various reforms in its facilities, among which the renovation of the running track, which has been equipped with a new surface and technology with sensors on training lanes and on the triple jump and long jump track, they catch and they send information on the athlete's performance in real time.
In addition, a new paddle tennis court (the sixth that the complex has), the CrossFit area has been remodeled and expanded and one of the tennis courts has been equipped with a wall SMASH-BACK to train simulating a real opponent, along with many other performances in the facilities, the apartments and suites or the leisure pool.
The competition calendar is resumed
The return of the activity to its facilities also means that the center resumes its calendar of competitions and sports events.
Club La Santa announced that it will organize el Long Distance Triathlon Military World Championship together with the Superior Council of Military Sports and the FETRI on July 3, coinciding with the XXIX edition of the Club La Santa IRONMAN Lanzarote.
But sporting events will return sooner, with the celebration of the 4 Stage MTB Race Lanzarote 2021, four-stage test included in the UCI international calendar and which will begin on May 29
They are just three of the great milestones of a sports calendar whose most important dates and events will be known soon. And it is that, in any case, the activity has not stopped in the complex.

Given that sanitary measures have limited or prevented the celebration of sporting events, Club La Santa has organized six virtual events so that athletes from anywhere in the world could participate, compete and stay active: the 'Club La Santa Virtual Series'.
