Club La Santa Virtual Series is back with the Virtual Running World Championship.

It will be its sixth edition with the dispute of the World Virtual Running Championship.

This edition will be an international race where the participants from each country will join forces to face each other. The race will be held between the days February 27 and 28, both included.

The teams will be made at the time of registration, where participants will automatically be part of the country that represent in the chosen distance

There are 2 distances

  • 3 kilometers for young people from 10 to 16 years old
  • 5 kilometers for adults from 16 years.

In addition, they will be able to complete the distance individually, on the terrain of their choice, outdoors or indoors.

Each country will have to contribute at least 6 participants

Each country will have to contribute a minimum of 6 participants y The 4 best times will be chosen to choose the winner.

Those countries that fail to meet the minimum of 6 runners will be located according to the continent of origin.

In addition, each country / continent will have a captain chosen at random by the organization who will meet with his team on the Friday before the event for 3 minutes to give encouragement to the team members.

Free registration and solidarity

This time the registration will be free character, but it will maintain its solidarity character, since Club Santa will donate 3 euros to UNICEF for each of the participants who register for the test.

The deadline to formulate the inscriptions will end on Thursday, February 25 at 23:59 p.m. They can be done through the Club La Santa website and the fee will be free.

Days after the end of the competition, a virtual awards ceremony will be held where the captains of the first 3 countries and continents will be invited to attend on behalf of their teams.

El Club Santa is a complex with the capacity to host more than 80 sports modalities in its facilities and which is responsible for the organization of other competitions with weight in the national and international calendar such as the Club La Santa IRONMAN Lanzarote, the Club La Santa IRONMAN Lanzarote 70.3 or the Club La Santa Volcano Triathlon Lanzarote.
