How to participate in the largest virtual competition in Spain? The Movistar Virtual Cycling

El Movistar Virtual Cycling it's a competition of virtuous cyclingThe beginning of the 22 of April at the hands of the company Bkool who has developed a software compatible with all the rollers

The next 22 of April will be the kick-off of this ambitious project where you want to do a virtual competition over 5 months coinciding with the 10 most relevant tests of the Calendar World Tour.

The format of the competition is as follows, various online qualifying phases to finish big in the Grand final in Madrid which will be played in September.

The company Bkool has partnered with Movistar to make this project. The software developed by the brand, allows the user train and compete with your bike from his own home, connecting your roller to a device and participating in online routes and competitions.

The simulator allows to recreate, in a realistic way, the conditions of the route and the competition: distance, unevenness during the route, power developed by each cyclist, rifts, landscape, orography or the same meteorology.

How to participate in the competition?

To participate in this competition the process is very simple;

2. Register in Bkool to participate in the Movistar Virtual Cycling.
3. Download the simulator on your computer or tablet, and synchronize your devices.

The software is compatible with all rollers in the market.

What is the competition?

There will be 10 qualifying stages coinciding with the best stages of the World Tour calendar such as the Giro d'Italia, Tour de France or the Vuelta a España among other classics.

The first stage begins the 22 in April and each 2 weeks will take place another new virtual test in Bkool that will give the pass to the Grand final to be played in Madrid.

The GREAT FINAL

The best in each stage, and in the organized offline events, will compete for fantastic prizes in the great final of Festibike

TEST CALENDAR

STAGE 1. Liège - Bastogne - Liège (30 km)

• Movistar Virtual Racing will start with the new end of the race dean of the cycling calendar.
• 22 / 4 - 5 / 5

STAGE 2. Tour of Italy (8,2km)

• The 2 last kilometers to almost the 10% will test the most powerful cyclists. Short stage ... and very explosive!
• 6 / 5 - 19 / 5

STAGE 3. Tour of Italy (15,6km)

• The 3ª stage of the MVR will be the one that the professionals will cover the last day of the Tour: 15 kilometers through the streets of Verona.

STAGE 4. Critérium du Dauphiné (23km)

• The first opportunity comes for the climbers, who will face the broken end of this stage of the French race.

STAGE 5. National Championship of Spain (30km)

• The MVR participants will face the hard final of the Spanish national championship, suitable for the best climbers.

STAGE 6. Tour de France (27km)

• The Tour starts this year in Belgium; in MVR you can measure your forces in the 27 km. of the round of the gala round.

• Put your name in the history of virtual cycling competitions as the winner at the most mythical peak of cycling, the Tourmalet.

STAGE 8. Classical San Sebastian (33 km)

• Cripple terrain that we recreate with the climbs to Arkale and Murgil Tontorra, the judges of a very open race.

STAGE 9. Tour of Spain (18km)

• Shift for the most powerful cyclists, those that move more watts. Measure your legs in a favorable route along the coast.

Grand finale

Win one of the 10 stages online at Bkool and qualify for the final that will take place at Festibike, 14-15 from September - Las Rozas (Madrid).
