Start of 200 runners

The Federation recommends a start of 200 simultaneous runners as long as the distance of 1 to 2 meters between each athlete.

This number will be determined by the maximum number of athletes that can be placed in line at an exit respecting the specified distances.

If the athlete number is greater than 200, starts every 5/10 minutes

If the number of athletes is greater than 200, batches of departure with a minimum of 5/10 minutes between each departure.

It is recommended to organize departures by categories / age groups, balancing those 200 athletes every 5/10 minutes. The distances between rows will be at least 2 meters.

Each race must adjust the starts, depending on its route and distance.

Regardless of the above, the organization shall adjust the times between each departure depending on the distance the route has, the design of the same (especially considering the areas of smaller amplitude) and the minimum space required between the participants in that section.

In the finish area

In the event that the participation or duration of the event is greater, it is recommended that the provisioning is in an open space, as far away from the finish area as possible.
