On the other hand, I confirm the information transmitted by my lawyer, Miquel López, regarding my alleged relationship in Operation Cursa, where, as he explained to the media, I went to the courts as a witness, never accused, there being no evidence regarding my involvement.

En 25 years linked to the world of triathlon, I have always worked from commitment, discipline and respect for a sport that has given me everything and for which I work every day. I am deeply saddened by the illegal leakage of information and the countless unfounded evaluations that have been made public in recent days both in numerous media and on social networks. Maintaining the values that have accompanied me throughout my life, I will not be part of this media circus and I will fight to the end through legal channels to clarify this issue.

Finally, I take this opportunity to thank all those who have clothed me at such a hard time and who, while waiting for enough information to make a judgment of value, have respected the presumption of innocence.
