Three-time world champion Craig Alexander joins IRONMAN U

The legendary triathlete Craig “Crowie” Alexander, three-time champion of HOMBRE DE HIERRO World Championship and two-time IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship champion, has been announced as a new member of the coaching team IRONMAN U Master.

This recognition consolidates his position as one of the most influential figures in the history of triathlon.


A career full of successes

Craig Alexander is known as one of the most successful triathletes of all time. During his 25 years as a professional, he amassed more than 100 victories, including three IRONMAN World Championships (2008, 2009 and 2011) and two IRONMAN 70.3 World Championships (2006 and 2011).

He also held the Kona circuit record, an achievement that demonstrated his ability to perform at the highest level in one of the most demanding tests in the world.

Since 2014, Alexander has shared his experience through the Sansego Triathlon Club, where he has helped more than 7.600 athletes improve their performance.

Now, as an IRONMAN U Master Coach, he expands his influence to guide a new generation of triathletes and coaches.


What is IRONMAN U?

IRONMAN U is an educational and certification platform for coaches specialized in long distance triathlon.

Developed in collaboration with TriDot, this program has established itself as the gold standard in coach training, offering advanced courses led by an elite team of Master Coaches.

The addition of Craig Alexander to the team reinforces this commitment to excellence. Alexander will bring his accumulated knowledge throughout an illustrious career to enrich educational content and provide valuable tools to both coaches and athletes.

This update includes content developed by Alexander, Allen and Michellie Jones, who have worked to ensure that coaches have the tools they need to prepare athletes for the physical and mental challenges of long distance triathlon.

With the addition of Alexander, IRONMAN U strengthens its position as a leader in coach education, ensuring the next generation of triathletes receive the best possible support.
