Jaume Leiva and Nuria Florencio take the victory in a Triathlon of Cambrils full of public.

Success in the fifth edition of the Cambrils Triathlon that has counted with the participation of more than 900 triathletes between the Olympic distance, Sprint and supersprint. A triathlon that is consolidated as one of the essential triathlons within the Catalan calendar.

Cambrils presented a beautiful image, full of public in all sectors, even though the beach offered a beautiful photo with the crowd from the 8h in the morning, in the bicycle sector, the urban part was filled, it would not be less RUN sector and the ride left a beautiful picture with the batukada in the background and a full of audience that wrapped the more than 900 triathletes at all times. The finish line was filled and the triathletes reached the finish line living an unforgettable experience.

 At the 8 in the morning, the athletes enrolled in the Olympic modality jumped into the water, with an ideal sea for the practice of swimming. The two laps of the circuit have been witnessed by a large number of people who filled the beach of La Riera. At the 15 minutes the first group left the water and made the transition in search of the bike.

The cycling circuit, completely closed to traffic, has allowed the triathletes to roll at great speeds in a totally safe way.

The champion of Spain in half marathon and just champion of Catalunya of 10k, Jaume Leiva, who got off the bike in 6ª position and 5 minutes apart from the head of the race, offered a recital of his best discipline and advantage in the finish line to the second classified in 4 minutes.

Leiva arrived excited and commented in goal what he was enjoying in this athletic break but that the triathlon is falling in love with him.

In the female category, Nuria Florencio the victory has been won with a total time of 2: 16: 29. Laia Rosello, has risen to the second box of the podium with a time of 2: 22: 13. The third place has been for Majo Muñoz stopping the time in 2: 22: 49. 

At half past ten and with the sun as the protagonist, the Sprint mode started. The Cambrils Club Triatlo triathlete, Manel Zuñiga, took the victory ahead of Aimar Assama and completed the Marc Bove podium. In females, Anna Pons reached the finish line first, Laura Alaminos, second, followed closely by the triathlete Leticia Barrio, who completed the third place. 

The awards ceremony was attended by the mayor of Cambrils, Camí Mendoza.

 The organizers of the event, appreciate the confidence placed in the event by all participants, institutions, sponsors, and especially the team of volunteers that has made possible that the IV edition of the Triathlon of Cambrils has been a success.
