Fourth consecutive victory in the Epic 5 for Josef Ajram

Josef Ajram has again won, for the fourth consecutive time, one more stage of Epic 5. This extreme sports challenge, consisting of completing 5 ironman in 5 consecutive days, takes place in its second edition on 5 islands in Hawaii. The island of Maui has hosted this fourth stage.

The Spaniard completed this fourth ironman in 12 hours and 15 minutes. The emotion is evident in his words, concise but exciting, a few minutes after reaching the finish line: "This is wild."

Josef suffered acute knee pain from kilometer 3 in a marathon with multiple hills, which did not prevent him from continuing to be the leader of this challenge never attempted until now.

The test began with swimming at Kamaole Beach, to continue with the bike course and end with the marathon. “Today we swam hard, we went at a fast pace with the bike and the marathon has been hard, but my mood couldn't be better”.

Under a cloudy sky, 52% humidity and an average speed of almost 24 kilometers per hour, the five participants have had to complete this penultimate stage, in which the rain has finally given a break.

Today the fifth and final stage will take place, which is presented as the most exciting of all and which will take place on the fifth island of Epic 5: Big Island
