Fourth consecutive victory in the Epic 5 for Josef Ajram

Josef Ajram has once again won, for the fourth time in a row, another stage of the Epic 5. This extreme sporting challenge, consisting of completing 5 Ironman in 5 consecutive days, takes place in its second edition on 5 islands in Hawaii. The island of Maui has hosted this fourth stage.

The Spaniard completed this fourth Ironman in 12 hours and 15 minutes. The emotion is evident in his words, brief but exciting, a few minutes after reaching the finish line: “This is wild.”

Josef suffered acute knee pain from kilometer 3 in a marathon with multiple slopes, which did not prevent him from continuing to be the leader of this challenge that had never been attempted until now.

The test began with swimming at Kamaole Beach, followed by the bike ride and ended with the marathon. “Today we swam hard, we rode at a fast pace and the marathon was tough, but my mood couldn't be better.”

Under a cloudy sky, 52% humidity and an average speed of almost 24 kilometers per hour, the five participants had to complete this penultimate stage, in which the rain has finally given a respite.

Today the fifth and final stage will take place, which is presented as the most exciting of all and will take place on the fifth island of Epic 5: Big Island
