Countdown to the Ocean Lava Murcía

Only 4 days left for the test

The next October 11 will be held the first edition of the Ocean Lava Murcia, Long-distance triathlon whose circuit will cover the entire region of Murcia and will take place online, starting the test in the Mar Menor, and ending in the city of Murcia.

Kenneth Gasque will be at the finish line by hanging the medal to all the participants

Circuits

The swimming course is 3,8 km and it takes place in the Mar Mayor de la Manga (in front of the Hotel Entremares). It is a circuit of two laps of 1,9 km with turn on the beach between the two laps.

The 180 km cycle route covers a large part of La Manga. It consists of 8 laps of 21,5 km + 1 last lap of 8 Km. At the end of each lap, the athletes will receive a bracelet. All the cycling route will be closed to traffic but prudence is requested at all times

The route of the race on foot is 42,192 km and consists of 4 turns of 10,550 Km each. The route is developed by La Manga.

Within this competition, and in parallel, the Final of the Spanish Open Water Cup 2015 will be held in addition to a Half Marathon and a 10km in the city of Murcia.

For the development of the Ocean Lava Murcia Competition, the organization has the professionalism of experts in the sector such as:

-Director of Career: Kenneth Gasque, organizer of sporting events. He was the first athlete in his country to run the Ironman of Kona (Hawaii) in 1985. That same year he organized the first international triathlon in Spain, the Volcano Triathlon, which took place at Club La Santa (Lanzanrote), where Kenneth is a sports director.

-Executive Director of Career: Ruth Gómez Álvarez,  Bachelor of Science in Physical Activity and Sports. Degree in Business Administration and Management. Senior Swimming Coach. Superior Triathlon Trainer. Long Distance Specialist Triathlon Trainer. Team Manager and responsible for age groups Spanish Triathlon Federation. Trainer of the Moralzarzal Triathlon Club and TRICAM. Personal Trainer.

- Ambassador of Ocean Lava Murcia: Ana Burgos , 84 times international, 7th at the 2004 Athens Olympic Games, European Triathlon Champion in 2003 in Carlsbad (Czech Republic), European Duathlon Champion in 2004 in Swansea (Great Britain) among other awards.
