New #FormacióTRICV course: Focused on female training

La Federation of Triatló of the Valencian Community announces a new course within its #FormacióTRICV program, focused on women's training.

This initiative, which will take place during the month of November, is aimed at offering specific tools and knowledge to optimize women's performance in triathlon.

Over three days, key aspects such as nutrition, physiotherapy, biomechanics and psychology will be addressed, always with women as the protagonists.

Course details

The course will be held over three days, two of which will be held online and one in person.

 Online sessions will be held on the days 8 and 15 NovemberIn hours 16: 00 21 to: 00 hours, while the face-to-face class will be the Saturday November 23, 9: 00 15 to: 00 hours, in the Cheste Educational Center.

Registration for the course is now open and will continue until November 6th at 23:59 hours.

In addition, the Federation has arranged special prices for members in the Valencian Community, who can register for 150 €, while the cost for the rest of the interested parties will be 175 €.

Featured speakers and topics addressed

The course will feature the participation of leading figures in triathlon and sports science, who will address a wide variety of essential topics for female triathletes:

  • Mireia Orengo: Sports nutrition specialist, will talk about nutritional strategies for performance improvement and the importance of maintaining a healthy menstrual cycle.
  • Chantal Pitarch, a triathlete from Castellón, will focus on the physiology of women, including the most common pathologies and menstrual cycle monitoring tools that can be useful for athletes.
  • Carles Castells: Expert in biomechanics, will delve into the cycling biomechanics for women, offering recommendations to improve efficiency and comfort on the bike.
  • Marina Guallar, physiotherapist, will address the issue of pelvic floor and support during pregnancy and postpartum For female triathletes, a key aspect for the physical well-being of athletes.
  • Vicky Cervera: Will address the psychosports training, with special emphasis on how the menstrual cycle affects sports performance and how to adapt training to maximize results.

Training adapted to the needs of female athletes

This course aims to respond to the specific needs of women in the field of triathlon, a sport that is both physically and mentally demanding.

Topics such as nutrition, physiology and the impact of the menstrual cycle on performance are essential for athletes to reach their full potential in a safe and healthy manner.

In addition, tools for management will be discussed. pelvic floor, an aspect that is often overlooked but is crucial to maintaining a good quality of life during and after a sports career.
