The IV NutriSport Half-Triathlon of Seville, the second round of the Europa FM Circuit, has crowned Gonzalo David Orozco and María Pujol as champions.

Already in its fourth edition, we have witnessed how 800 triathletes have once again become real superheroes. The Guadalquivir River, symbol of the city of Seville, welcomed them in their first segment under 1800m of swimming. Next, they rode their bicycles to travel under an idyllic climate the 90km by the Sevillian Aljarafe, and finish running along the adjoining promenades to the Guadalquivir River and the immeasurably green lung of the Parque del Alamillo.

Iván Tejero was the first to get out of the water, but kilometers later Antonio José Cardona would hunt him, the latter taking the 1ª position until the 70 bike, at which point a strong cramp made him leave the race. From that moment it would be Gonzalo Orozco the clear dominator of the test until his goal. With an advantage of 3'07'' came the second runner, the British of the Royal Marines Torq, and 6'20'' Francisco Javier García, of the Pacense Triathlon.

The new champion of the Half Triatlón of Seville was exultant: "The strong wind has made the test very hard, but for that reason I tried to place very well swimming. I especially liked the cycling segment. "
