The Doñana Challenge awarded by the Andalusian sports managers

The Doñana Challenge, one of the toughest resistance events held annually in Andalusia

 

The Doñana Challenge It is a triathlon whose uniqueness is determined by the different order and distance of the disciplines. The test begins with 100 km of cycling, 1 km of swimming and ends with 30 km of running.

This past weekend the Association of Sports Managers of Andalusia (AGESPORT) held its annual congress in Seville. And as is also customary, they awarded a special gala to entities, public and private organizations, institutions and managers that stood out in 2015. And one of them wasl Doñana Challenge, which received the award in the category of Best activity, program or sports plan of Andalusia last year. The prize was collected by the general director of Activities and Promotion of Sports, Mª José Rienda.

The seventh edition of the Doñana Challenge, long distance triathlon organized by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports will be held next September 24

For this edition the test presents a series of novelties along the way, such as the expansion of the cycling segment from 90 to 100 kilometers, and the inclusion of Trebujena (Cádiz), for the first time, as one of the places of passage of the competition.
