Challenge Budva winner Magnus Ditlev disqualified

Yesterday was played lel Challenge Budva (Montenegro) where Magnus ditlev claimed victory with a spectacular lead of almost 7 minutes over the double world champion Patrick Lange that was second.
Hours later the organization published a statement explaining what happened and disqualifying the triathlete.
It appears that Ditlev inadvertently shortened the running segment, allowing him to do a half marathon in 1:08:11, giving him victory in the test.
This is the organization's statement
"It is with great regret that we have to announce the disqualification of Magnus Ditlev after his victory today in the CHALLENGE BUDVA-MONTENEGRO. This DSQ is due to an involuntary action of cutting the race on foot, after following the bike which opened the race, which became evident in the final part of today's race.
“Everyone involved regrets this decision, but the application of the objective rules established by our World Triathlon governing body is an important factor in our sport.
“In an act of solidarity, the pros who finished behind Magnus decided to share their winnings from today's prize money as a token of appreciation for the way Magnus showed.".
It is with a very heavy heart that we have to announce the disqualification of Magnus Ditlev after his victory earlier today at Challenge Budva-Montenegro. All info:
