Devils of Rivas and Cidade de Lugo Champions of Spain of Triathlon by Clubs

This weekend Boiro is hosting more than 1.500 athletes in the Spanish Triathlon Championships by Clubs and Mixed Relays

Today was the turn of the Club competition where the Imps from Rivas in male category and the Cidade de Lugo in women they have taken the victory

El club Diablillos Rivas Mar de Pulpí won the Spanish Triathlon Championship for Clubs in the Men's First Division, third day of the Triathlon Lotteries League, played in the vicinity of Barraña beach in Boiro. The second place of the championship was for Arcade Inforhouse Santiago, and the third for CN Montjuic Fasttriathlon. The Cidade de Lugo Fluvial took the Lotteries Trophy to the best partial swim.

Race very disputed with the favorites in the first positions, which was decided in favor, on an individual level, of the Cidade de Lugo Fluvial. Antonio Benito, Duathlon's Spanish champion imposed a great pace on the final foot race but even greater was that of his teammate Javi Lluch, who starred in a spectacular sprint on the home straight with Iván Gil, from Diablillos de Rivas. The third position was for Benito.

The second place of the championship was for Saltoki Diquesí Trikideak, and the third for CEA Bétera. The AD Náutico de Narón took the Iberdrola Trophy to the best partial swim.

Cecilia Santamaría He led the test in T2 and started the running race segment followed by his teammate María Rico. A few seconds marched sportsmen like Carla Domínguez or Noelia Juan, who would soon take the head of the race until the end of the competition. María Rico and Tamara Gómez also moved up positions although the second individual position would be for Carla Domínguez, and the third for Annete Jenkins.
