Make the invisible visible”: a supportive double Ultraman

The athletes Toni Marin y Tomi Lopez are about to embark on an epic challenge: complete two Ultramans in just six days.
But this is not just any challenge. With every stroke, every pedal stroke and every step, these athletes seek to raise funds for six rare childhood diseases, demonstrating that physical endurance can be a powerful driver for social change.
An Ultraman, twice
An Ultraman is an ultra-endurance test that combines 10 km of swimming, 421 km of cycling and 84 km of running, all in three consecutive days.
Toni and Tomi will double down on this challenge, completing two Ultramans in six days. The setting for this rest will be the Viding Ekke gym in Lleida where they will swim a total of 20 km, pedal 840 km and run 168 km.
It is an event open to everyone who wants to participate and that seeks to make visible those “rare” causes that need a little more knowledge from the population.
Six causes, one objective
The entire event will be dedicated to six rare childhood diseases: Usher syndrome, Rett syndrome, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), 'butterfly skin', undifferentiated chordoma and an as yet unnamed pathology that affects a boy named Alex.
Through their efforts, Toni and Tomi seek to not only raise funds, but also raise awareness about these diseases and the need for research and support.
Solidarity walk “Make the invisible visible”
On September 11, the Viding Ekke gym in Lleida will open its doors to a solidarity walk open to the public.
Under the motto “Make the invisible visible”, this event seeks to unite the community around these “rare” causes that need to be known and understood.
Toni and Tomi, athletes with a cause
It is not the first time that these athletes put their resistance at the service of others.
Last year, they completed three Ironmans in three days to help treat Berta, a girl with Rett syndrome.
