This weekend the official triathlon competitions will return to our country, with the dispute in the city of Pontevedra del Spanish Sprint Triathlon Championship.
The test had to modify its format to adapt to the new health regulations imposed by the Autonomous Community of Galicia due to the spread of Covid-19-
It will be in a time trial format, without drafting and maintaining interpersonal distance at all times. In addition, it will not have an audience and will comply with the protocols that the FETRI has developed to ensure the maximum safety of the participants.

Regarding the elite category, the absence of Javier Gómez Noya and Mario Mola, although it will be Fernando Alarza, the top favorite for victory.
