Two weeks for the Portocolom International Triathlon

The next 14 in April will be held the XXII edition of the Portocolom International Triathlon, a competition chosen by many international triathletes to start the middle distance season.

In addition to being the test with more awards in the Balearics, has also been chosen several times as the best triathlon of the Balearic Islands, a seal of excellence that ensures the quality of the competition

In terms of distances, the test has two different competitions la 111 (1 kilometer of swimming, 100 of cycling and 10 of foot race) and the 55.5   (500 meters of swimming, 50 km of cycling, 5 km of race.)

Swimming will take place in the bay of Portocolom with the mythical lighthouse as a backdrop, the cycling segment will go up to Sant Salvador times and in the foot race you can enjoy one of the best views of the whole island  running to the lighthouse.

The town of Portocolom is located in the east coast of the island of Mallorca, being one of the most charming destinations, where you can enjoy beaches with crystal clear waters being a zone chosen by many cyclists and triathletes to prepare the preseason.

Last week we advanced a great international participation since the test is part of the circuit  European Long Distance Triathlon Series  where can be up Daniela Ryf with your team. The four-time winner of the test Michael Van Cleven y  Markus Hörmann  2014 winner will excite the competition. Among confirmed Spaniards will be Carlos López y  joan Nadal
