Ecotrimad enters the No Drafting Series circuit

Ecotrimad 2015 (13 and 14 of June) becomes part of the circuit of No Drafting Series (NDS), which will have more than 6.000 triathletes, 10 tests throughout Spain and a prize envelope higher than the 8.000 euros.

Ecotrimad will be along with the Triathlon of Elche and Valencia, Spain Middle Distance Triathlon Championship, one of the most important competitions of the circuit. Among others, this circuit also includes the Spanish Long Distance Duathlon Championship of Orihuela, the Oliva Triathlon and the Guadalajara Triathlon.

The NDS circuit is the union of a series of competitions, mainly of medium distance, which above all share a philosophy and way of seeing the sport of triathlon: the No Drafting Series aims to contribute to the recovery of the original spirit of the sport, which was no other than overcoming personal limits, a triathlete in solidarity with the rest of the triathletes, with total respect for the environment and the rest of his teammates. Organizers aligned with this spirit that are committed to ensuring the cleanliness of their tests and compliance with the rule of no drafting (wheel cycling).

The 5th edition of Ecotrimad wants, with the incorporation to NDS, to consolidate its position as a different triathlon, in a unique, demanding environment that has as its center the triathlete. A competition made by and for triathletes that brings value to the participants, sponsors, institutions and the region in which it is developed, the Sierra Norte de Madrid.
