Edurne Pasabán and Xavi Llobet will compete in the Tri-Neu Gore Tex Mountain Triathlon in Canillo

The mountaineer Edurne Pasabán, the first woman to tread the 14 'ochomiles'of the world, and the triathlete Xavi Llobet, Olympic Games in Athens 2004, will contest the third edition of the Tri-Neu Gore Tex Mountain Triathlon, which combines running, cycling and skiing and will be held on Saturday 23 March in Canillo (Andorra).

 

 

The test consists of three parts, a first one of foot race of 5 kilometers with a positive unevenness of 200 meters, that will pass through streets and dirt roads; and a second section of 8 kilometers of mountain bike of constant ascent, with a drop of 500 meters, by a circuit that will alternate stretches of asphalt and of track quite demanding.

 

The last part of the test will be a mountain ski tour that will start at the Forn slopes, from 2,60 kilometers away and a climb of 500 meters of positive slope with arrival at the Pic de la Portella.

 

The race, organized by Top Crono and supported by Viladomat and Gore Tex stores and which has a prize of 5.000 euros, will have a female and male category and may be played individually or by teams of three, in which each of the members will face one of the sections that compose it.
