The Challenge Costa Barcelona-Maresme, best 2010 triathlon for the FETRI

The Challenge Costa Barcelona-Maresme has been recognized by the Spanish Triathlon Federation as the best national race of 2010 among more than half a thousand events held in the national territory.
The last edition of the Challenge Costa Barcelona-Maresme was a success, both participatory and organizational. The thousand triathletes of 36 different nationalities left Calella delighted.
From the Challenge management, every last detail will be taken care of and work will be done to make the 2011 edition even better than the 2010 edition. The key to this award has been in the infrastructure of the race, at the level of the best in the world, and the treatment and respect of the athlete.
Agustí Pérez, director of Challenge Barcelona-Maresme, expressed his gratitude for the award. “This award does justice to a way of working and an objective,” he said. The organization of the event will receive this award on February 19 at the COE headquarters during the 2010 Spanish Triathlon Gala, which will be attended by the Secretary of State for Sport, Jaime Lissavetzky, the President of the ITU and member of the IOC, Marisol Casado, and the President of the FETRI, Jose Hidalgo.
