The French Grand Prix returns to the scene in August, could be Javier Gómez Noya, Mario Mola and Vicent Luis

Everything will depend on the evolution of the Covid-19 outbreaks.

The president of the French Triathlon Federation has confirmed that "FFTri's recovery plan begins in Châteauroux, the days 22 y 23 Augustwith the dispute of Triathlon Grand Prix- Stage 1 Châteauroux

Among those who will compete a priori are Vicent Luis , leader of the French team (Sainte-Geneviève); Leo Bergere (Saint-Jean-de-Monts), Dorian Coninx (Poissy), Mario Mola (Saint-Jean-de-Monts), J.Acob Birthwhistle (AUS, Valencia), Javier Gomez Noya, five times world champion (Liévin) among others.

Among the female category, the list is just as impressive, with the American ones Taylor Spivey (Poissy) and Summer Rappaport (Metz), the Welsh NonStandard (Metz) or the French Cassandre Beaugrand y Leonie Periault (Poissy)

Covid-19 outbreaks in the crosshairs

Xavier Béranger refers to the organization of these two days: ” We did not say that we had to organize ourselves at all costs, but that we were going to try to go as far as possible in order to try to do this test in a prudent and reasonable way. 

"Masks, safety distances, adapted routes, less than 5.000 spectators, are some of the precautions to be taken in the competition unless there is a new outbreak of the pandemic", reason why they would have to be forced to suspend it.
