The USADA report “proves” that Armstrong doped

Lance Armstrong and his team launched the most sophisticated doping program in sport, according to the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) which released its report on the case against the US Postal cycling team on Wednesday.

USADA said it would send the report, which is more than 1.000 pages long and contains the affidavits of 26 people, 15 of them riders, to the International Cycling Union (UCI), the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) and the World Cup Corporation. Triathlon (WTC), before making it available on its website.

"The evidence shows that, beyond any doubt, the US Postal Service team implemented the most sophisticated, professionalized and successful doping program the sport has ever known," USADA said in a statement.

“Among the direct documentary evidence included are financial payments, emails, scientific data, and laboratory evidence proving Lance Armstrong's use, possession, and distribution of performance-enhancing drugs and confirming the ugly truth about the activities of the USPS team, a team that received tens of millions of dollars from American taxpayers.”

Armstrong has denied cheating and has never tested positive, but the seven-time Tour de France champion was banned for life by USADA in August after announcing he would not defend himself against the charges.
