The Mallorca 140.6 Triathlon presents its spectacular routes with departure and finish in Playa de Muro
The long distance triathlon returns to the island of Mallorca
La PLaya de Muro, in the bay of Alcudia To the north of Mallorca, it is the place chosen to house the exit and goal of the new long distance triathlon Mallorca 140.6 Triathlon to be held on October 24 of 2020.
El spectacular travel that becomes official will start with swimming in the Crystal clear waters of this famous kilometer beach of fine white sand, along with the best roads for the cycling segment and a completely flat walking tour, which will return to the Balearic Islands as a benchmark in the European long distance triathlon scene.
The test routes revealed
Mallorca 140.6 Triathlon reveals its spectacular and expected route, both for the queen distance consisting of 3.800 meters of swimming, 180 kilometers of cycling and 42.197 meters of running, as for the Half version (just half the distance in each segment).
El nerve center will be located in Playa de Muro, in the bay of Alcudia, including departure and finish, swimming and running, and the double transition between sports, Expo area and official hotels.
This town, which has one of the most important natural reserves of the Balearic Islands, as is the Albufera, it offers first class tourist services and is the perfect environment for endurance sportsto, with an ideal climate, a privileged environment for swimming, cycling or for running, and that will be overturned with the participants of the highly anticipated inaugural edition of this first level international event.
After swimming, triathletes will have to complete the cycling segment that will take place in an attractive circuit of two laps of 90 kilometers with about 500 meters of unevenness each, and will run through a municipality as recognized by cyclists internationally such as Muro, Can Picafort, Santa Margalida, María de la Salut, Ariany, Sineu, Llubí, Sa Pobla or Alcúdia.
Drafting control, a key point for the organization

The foot race will take place on a absolutely flat circuit and attractive 10 kilometers surrounding Es Llac Gran, with a goal in the urban heart of Playa de Muro and with unique views.
Where does the name of Mallorca 140.6 Triathlon come from?
The Mallorca 140.6 Triathlon takes its name from the total sum of its route in miles equivalent to 226 kilometers. Parallel to this long distance, it will be possible to participate in the Mallorca 140.6 Triathlon Half, just halfway through 1.900 meters of swimming, 90 km of cycling and 21 km of running race.
Mallorca 140.6 is organized by Kumulus and it has the support of the Town Hall of Muro and the Hotel Association of Playa de Muro, Tourism of the Balearic Islands, Mallorca Turisme Foundation and the Triathlon Federation of the Balearic Islands.
