The Challenge territory grows in the Maresme

With the aim of offering the best circuits to the triathletes who will participate next September 30 in Challenge- Barcelona, the municipality of Montgat joins the Challenge family.

In response to one of the hallmarks recognized by the Challenge routes for their excellent signage and quality on the circuits, Montgat joins the Challenge family, thus placing the turn of the two great cycling laps in the Rotunda in that town. from Camí Ral with Avenida del Turó

Thanks to this improvement of the circuit, the 6 km laps will be extended, thus giving the possibility of reducing the third lap from 42 km to 30 km, the latter being at LLavaneres.

On September 14, the official presentation of Challenge-Barcelona will take place before the institutions and local media, where we will also have the presence of the Mayor of Montgat, Mr. Francesc Garcia Arrocha and the Sports Councilor Mr. Marc Guaita.

In this way, the Challenge-Barcelona organization wants to show its appreciation for the support and availability of the town of Montgat to offer this quality circuit to the triathletes who will accompany us on September 30 at Challenge Barcelona-Maresme, which this year also, It will be the Spanish Triathlon Championship as a prelude to the European Championship that will host in 2013.

With more than a thousand registered triathletes, Challenge continues to work to offer the maximum attention and quality in the circuits to the triathletes who will participate in this event, which has already become the benchmark long-distance event at an international level.
