The Castellón Triathlon is consolidated with 1200 participants

Great atmosphere lived this weekend in the Grao on the occasion of the III edition of the Triathlon Castellón where the triathletes have been able to enjoy the multi-sport animated by hundreds of spectators and followers who have come to the arrival area to see their classmates, friends, or relatives.

On Saturday, the Castellón triathlon started, the second seat of the WLD WOLF Triathlon Series by POLAR, with 1.200 participants that were ready to pick up their number at the expo where the sponsors of the event offered their products. Wild Wolf with its technical drinks for sportsmen, Polar with its GPS watches and heart rate monitors, and ISDIN continued with the campaign "fotoprotégete bien".

The day of Sunday began in the early morning with the departure of the participants of the Olympic distance that they were preparing to do two laps of 750m with a totally calm and very desirable sea to enjoy the swimming segment, followed by 36km on a totally flat bike touring the Grao district of Castellón, to finish with 4 laps of 2,5km along the seafront .

The fastest in completing the three disciplines were Javier Andrés (01: 55: 41) and Marta Ferrer (02: 16: 54) who imposed their law with a very fast foot race.

Later it was the turn of the participants of the modality Sprint, with a large number of teams from the Valencian region starring the Triathlon Evasion Club that made it possible to breathe an atmosphere of camaraderie without leaving aside competition for the triumph that took Martin Millo (00: 59: 50) and Miriam Muñoz ( 01: 09: 37).

Throughout the weekend you could see a real sports festival, demonstrating that triathlon is available to all, with professional, amateur participants of all ages and sexes, where its main objective is to overcome their personal challenge.

All the participants appreciated the great participation of the attending public that was distributed throughout the tour and the attention received by the organization and volunteers, which is being a great quality seal for all the venues of the circuit.

Next Sunday 14 and 21 of July the circuit of the WILD WOLF Triathlon Series by POLAR will land in Barcelona y Andorra, one of the most special dates in the calendar.
