Elena Aguilar and Diego Paredes win the Triathlon Cabo de Gata Níjar

Yesterday, Sunday, October 20, the 2nd edition of the Triathlon MD Cabo de Gata Níjar where 500 triathletes faced the 1900 meters of swimming followed by 80 km of cycling, finishing the test with 21 km of running.

 

 

The triathletes swam in the waters of the Maritime park of Cabo de Gata, traveling by bicycle volcanic origin with continuous ups and downs, ending with a walking tour through the San Jose beaches, the Genoveses and Monsúl. A Triathlon in the middle of nature.

 

Diego walls got a clear victory with a final time of 4: 04: 31 surpassing  Samer Ali Saad in more 4 minutes. The podium completes Juan Salvador Díaz I get to the finish line with a 4 time: 09: 21.

 

In the female category, Elena Aguilar won comfortably stopping the time trial with a 4 time: 49: 59 followed by Amelia Torrego to more than 17 minutes and Sara Mariscal third with a total time of 5: 12: 01

 

This year the test had an Olympic test where they were imposed  Sergio Tejero  y Gabriela Vieitez.
