Eneko Llanos begins preparation for the Hawaii Ironman in October

The Alava has confirmed to Efe his future plans to try to arrive in the best shape of his most important event of the season, Ironam, which will play again for the sixth consecutive time.
Llanos will end this week a period of lower activity and training volume, in which he has tried to disconnect by doing other unusual activities such as hiking, inline skating and stand-up paddleboarding, but "without touching the bicycle, running shoes and swimming," he stressed.
At this time of year, the aim is to reduce the workload in training sessions to lose fitness and "detrain the body" in order to return for the second half of the year "as if it were the start of the season, with batteries fully charged both physically and mentally, full of desire and motivation to train hard" and prepare for the main goal of the year, which is one of the most important endurance events on the planet.
The Vitorian plans to participate this weekend in the Copa del Rey triathlon to be held in El Ferrol on Saturday.
From that date, he will not compete in any other event until October, unlike last year when he took part in the Ironman from Roth, Germany. EFE 1010976
