Can a triathlete work 40 hours a week and qualify for the Ironman World Championship in Kona as PRO?

The answer is yes.

Carlos López is an example of this, a person with his work of 40 weekly hours as a commercial of surgical material that has managed to qualify for the Kona World Championship as PRO, with the hard KPR scoring system.

We have spoken with Carlos, triathlete Skechers, to tell us how it is a week of him combining workouts, work and family.
