We interviewed Víctor del Corral: Hawaii Ironman Goal

Today we were able to interview Víctor del Corral, one of the most important triathletes of the national and international scene that among other titles stands out for having been the winner Ironman of Lanzarote 2012 as well as twice European Champion of Triathlon Cros, that this season 2013 has made a clear commitment to the Hawaii Ironman.

After having competed in the Melbourne Ironman On March 24 he had a few days off in Australia, and then progressively returned to training in order to face his new goals. This first appointment, and due in part to “mechanical problems”, the results were not as expected for the Catalan triathlete, and for this reason Víctor del Corral decided to do a modification in your calendar in search of the necessary points to achieve his classification for Kona “The most remarkable thing could be my decision to do not compete this year in Nice to participate in  Florianópolis (Brazil) to be played next 26 of May "

Víctor, trying to be in the best moment of form and prior to the Brazilian test, will be tested in the  Ironman 70.3 from Sant George to be played this Sunday, May 5. It is the first time that it will compete in these tests, the Ironman 70.3 in Saint George adapting more to its characteristics since the cycling sector is undulating, where it will start in the search to achieve a top 10.

On the circuit of  Florianópolis  Victor told us "It's totally flat, but the distance they have to travel by bicycle and on foot, will give me time to overcome the position I could lose in the swimming segment "

Victor, before traveling to Saint George has participated with his trainer Santi Pellejero in a training Camp organized by Experience 100K, where they have also recognized the circuits of the Experience 100K of Mallorca to be held next October 5.

A calendar full of relevant events for this great international triathlete that we are sure will achieve its objectives. From Triathlon News, we wish you good luck.
