Vicente Hernández leads the Spanish 23 TRIarmada in the Huelva World Cup.

 Vicente Hernández, Uxío Abuín, Antonio Serrat, David Castro, Anna Godoy, Sara Pérez, Camila Alonso and Inés Santiago are the main Spanish assets.

This next Sunday 24 of September will be played the last World Cup Spanish of 2017 in Huelva. The test is performed under Olympic distance, starting at Punta Umbría with 1500m swimming in a waters at a temperature around 21º. Later, the cycling segment is divided into two parts, the first is 20km link to Huelva and then in the city of Huelva the other 20 will be covered in a 5km circuit to which 4 will be given laps. Finally, the competition ends with the 10km on foot race. 

 In the men's category there will be 62 triathletes on the starting list, with 13 Spanish representatives, Vicente Hernández with the 1 number is the main favorite next to the American Kevin McDowell, the British Adam Bowden y Gordon Benson, the French Léo Bergere and the Canadian Matthew Sharpe.

The rest of Spaniards who dispute the World Cup are: Uxio Abuín, Antonio Serrat, David Castro, Roberto Sánchez Mantecón, Antonio Benito, Kevin Viñuela, Genis Grau, Camilo Puertas, Alberto González, Arnau Montiel, Victoria Raso y Héctor Arévalo. We must also highlight the participation of Extremadura Alberto Casillas competing for Lithuania and the Valencian Jesús Gomar for Georgia.

 Male start list 

While in the female category 42 triathletes will be on the starting list, with the Spanish representation being the most numerous with 10 triathletes. The main favorites are the American Renee Tomlin y Chelsea Burns, the Canadian Joanna Brown, the Japanese Yuko Takahashi and the Czech Vendula Frintova.

On behalf of the Spanish 10 representatives will be: Anna Godoy, Camila Alonso, Sara Perez, Inés Santiago, Melina Alonso, Ana Mariblanca, Delioma González, Sara Guerrero, Ana Carvajal e Ibone Sánchez. Also quote the Venezuelan Joselyn Brea, which runs under the ITU flag and is in process for Spanish nationalization. 

Female start list 

The women's event will be the first to be contested, taking the 9: 00 start in the morning, while the men's event will start the 12: 15.
