Fabio Cabrera: “The Vuelta Ciclista a Lanzarote is the result of the efforts of a great team”

During the press conference of presentation of the Lanzarote Cycling Tour, held today in Arrecife. Fabio Cabrera, The race director of the first edition highlighted the joint effort of all the people and entities involved in the organization of the event.

Cabrera thanked Club La Santa and its entire team for the work carried out to carry out this unique cycling event on the island.

A non-competitive sports cycle to enjoy Lanzarote

Fabio Cabrera recalled that the Vuelta Ciclista a Lanzarote is a non-competitive cycling event, designed to enjoy the island's surroundings without the pressure of competition.

"What we have been working on all this time is to remember that it is a non-competitive test. We want to avoid overtaking and unnecessary situations. It is an experience to enjoy and regroup at iconic points in Lanzarote."He explained.

Among the highlights of the route, Cabrera mentioned the regroupings in emblematic places on the island, such as the Mirador del Río and the Castillo de San José, thanks to the support of the Art, Culture and Tourism Centres of Lanzarote and the influence of the legacy of César Manrique.
