This afternoon we received the sad news of the death of Federico Campuzano, president of the Cantabrian Triathlon Federation since the beginning of our sport in our country and the triathlon salma in Cantabria.

Athlete, organizer, Federation president and much more, Federico left us this morning while swimming in the Cantabrian waters, near Suances, and when he was already preparing his transition to the Cantabrian Triathlon Federation front.

The president of the Spanish Triathlon Federation, José Hidalgo, wanted to dedicate a few words of recognition to him upon learning of the fateful news: "He was always a very committed person, and one of the key people to understand Spanish triathlon, one of its founders.

He was an endearing person and committed to our sport and who captained the Cantabrian triathlon from its beginnings until his death. Rest in peace".
