Festibike will host the final of the Movistar Virtual Cycling

Telefónica takes another step forward in its commitment to cycling and innovation by creating, with the help of the Last Lap events company and the indoor cycling platform Bkool,  Movistar Virtual Cycling, an international competition of virtual cycling.

El virtual cycling it is a discipline that has more and more protagonism among the fans of this sport. The intelligent rollers allow you to train and compete with your bike from your own home, connecting your roller to a device and participating in online routes and competitions.

Movistar Virtual Cycling is an international virtual cycling competition that will start in April combining online qualifiers and face-to-face events. The winners of the qualifying tests will access the world finals that will be held at Festibike, the International Bicycle Fair that will take place in the Madrid town of Las Rozas on September 13, 14 and 15, 2019.

To carry out the project, the company has partnered with the Bkool indoor cycling platform, which allows cyclists, professionals or amateurs, to compete from anywhere in the world with real routes simulated in 3D or video. Cyclists only need a smartphone, tablet or computer to measure themselves online against thousands of cyclists from anywhere in the world.
