The 2025 Fuente Álamo Triathlon opens registration today

El Villa de Fuente Álamo International Triathlon – Grandfather Melons Grand Prix, popularly known as “The Triathlon of triathletes”, celebrates its 33rd edition in 2025.

This test, which will take place on April 26, has become one of the great events of the calendar national thanks to its history, atmosphere and competitive level.

Numbers available this Tuesday

Starting today, Tuesday, February 4, the registration process opens for all athletes who wish to live this experience.

A total of 1.000 bibs will be available from 18:30 p.m. on the official website https://www.trifuentealamo.esThose interested can sign up for Elite category outings or for the age group slot.

The registration fee is 41 euros, of which one euro will be donated to a charity. This gesture of solidarity has been repeated in previous editions and is part of the spirit of the organisation.

Tour details and date

The event will be held on April 26th in a sprint format. The first swimming section (750 metres) will take place at Rihuete Beach, in Mazarrón. Afterwards, the triathletes will face 25 kilometres of cycling with the climb to Alto de los Ruices, located 325 metres above sea level, until they reach the municipality of Fuente Álamo. There they will face the running race on an urban circuit full of spectators and volunteers who always provide unconditional support.

This year, the event is once again a qualifier for the Spanish Triathlon Championship, which raises the level of competitiveness and appeal for athletes looking to earn points for the season.

Those who register will not only receive a bib number, but will also receive breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as access to facilities designed exclusively for participants. Accommodation is also offered for triathletes and their companions so that they can enjoy the experience in Fuente Álamo from start to finish.

The event, nicknamed “The Triathlon of Triathletes,” maintains its hospitable spirit, seeking to make each competitor and their families feel at home during the weekend.
