The Spanish Javier Gómez Noya, double world and European triathlon champion, will contest the fourth round of the World Cup, which will take place on July 16 in the German town of Hamburg.
The brownlee brothers will not be at this event since they are totally focused on the London test, so Javier becomes the top favorite to get the victory. The rest of the Spanish representation is made up of Marío Mola, fourth in the last Triathlon European Championship that took place in Pontevedra, and Iván raña.
In the Women's race, the Chilean Barbara Riveros, Hewit and Moffat start as favorites. Paula Findlay's absence due to injury stands out. Ainhoa Murua, Zuriñe Rodriguez and Marina Damlaimcour will attend the Spanish representation.
